Meet Leslie

I have resided in Kootenai County for the past 19 years. My husband and I have journeyed through nearly 20 years of marriage and 15 years of parenting together. Prior to living in Kootenai County, I earned a Criminal Justice degree and served 10 years in law enforcement.

In 2000, my husband and I started a remote sports television business. The business required full-time travel state side and periodic international travel. Over the next 14 years, I managed our small business, worked in various positions in the field, and home schooled our two children. With each business departure from and return to Idaho, I became increasingly aware of changes in my hometown and the issues arising from those changes.

I changed focus to be more available to, and involved in my local community. I was appointed to the Kootenai County Aquifer Protection District (APD) Committee in 2014 and currently serve as the Chairperson for the APD.

I also serve on the Women’s Auxiliary Board for the Union Gospel Mission’s Center for Women and Children in Coeur d’Alene. My friends and family support me wholeheartedly in the run for Kootenai County Commissioner, a vital role in our community. I would be honored to serve in this capacity.
